Every year, millions of dogs enter shelters, and hundreds of thousands are euthanized due to this overcrowding of unwanted and abandoned animals. We created Dogzzle as our way to raise awareness and money to help save and care for these dogs until they can find their forever homes.

THE IMPORTANCE OF ANIMAL SHELTERS

Animal shelters and rescue organizations are vital because they provide care for abandoned or neglected pets. They work tirelessly to care for these precious animals and play a crucial role in finding them loving homes. There is a common misunderstanding that all shelters are government-funded or supported by taxpayers' dollars. While some are municipal shelters, this isn’t the case for the majority. Most shelters are independent and run solely on donations and fundraising. Depending on how well a shelter is at raising funds, has a direct impact on how well they are able to care for and adopt out these homeless animals. Animal shelters and rescues are constantly fighting for funding to keep their doors open.
